The Northern American region accounts for 62.78% of the Asian population, as it hosts the United States, the third-most populous country in the world. Thirty percent of the North American population lives in Central America, and 7.23 percent in the Caribbean.

North America has the 3rd highest population growth rate of 0.66% for 2025, below Africa and Oceania. Central America is the fastest-growing subregion in North America, followed by Northern America. All North American subregions have a positive population growth rate until 2044.

North America will add 4.06 million people in 2025. The net increase per year peaked in 1992, with almost 6.29 million.
